Description:
Kumquats are slow-growing trees, and densely branched. Its flowers are white and fragrant. Its fruit is covered by a thin, aromatic yellow, orange or red skin that is consumed as fresh fruit. It is also used to make jams, and even kumquat liqueur, currently used in cocktails. It is possible to keep it in salt, obtaining a reduced and wrinkled fruit that is used as medicine for sore throats.
